Gender Reveal

We were so excited when we received a message from Gail about photographing a gender reveal for her second child! She mentioned she knew a previous couple we photographed, Tiara & Nathan, and loved their photos so much. It is always so nice to receive these sweet compliments and referrals!

A Military wife, she was newer to the area and wanted the photos to be taken on the beach but wasn’t sure of the perfect location. We decided to go with Chick’s Beach in Virginia Beach. They were calling for the storms the morning we met with her but it ended up being just perfect for their session. We pretty much had the beach to ourselves too so that was a plus! Her daughter loved playing on the beach, but we were able to keep her still for a few beautiful mother-daughter portraits! They have such a sweet bond that made them so easy to capture. Annette with I Do Weddings With Love was kind enough to provide gorgeous flower crowns for her session! They were the perfect touch for the reveal of the gender of the baby.

Her oldest daughter could not contain her excitement about having a new baby… SISTER!!

Gail’s husband is currently deployed. She told him the wonderful news and then told me that he had tears of joy! He will be returning in August just in time for baby Havean’s arrival. We are so excited for the wonderful family and grateful that we were able to be a part of documenting this time in their lives. Thank you so much! Enjoy a few of our favorites.
