Fall Maymont Richmond Engagement Session
Martha & David’s Fall Maymont Richmond Engagement Session was full of beauty and love! Maymont is so beautiful in any season, but the fall colors were so so pretty! We pretty much had the entire garden to ourselves, I had a great time walking and talking with these two!
I especially loved learning about how they met! They have known each other almost their entire lives, when they were 3 and 5. David grew up next door to Martha’s cousins. Years later, David went to her high school graduation with her cousin (his best friend) and got her number. And here they are now!

How he proposed:
“We went to Albuquerque, NM in July to visit David’s cousin and his wife (our best man and MOH). David planned a surprise hot air balloon ride which I did not know about until we arrived at the balloon at 5am. While we were up in the air he proposed! :)”
What David loves most about his future Bride:
David says that I am sweet and caring. He said he loves that I love our furbaby, trashy tv and staying at home being lazy.
What Martha loves most about her future Groom:
I love his sense of humor and how caring he is. I love that he loves my family already as if they are his own and that his favorite thing to do is spend time with me and our furbaby.
What are your favorite things to do together?
He works nights and I work days so when we have time together we like to either hang out at home cooking dinner and watching our favorite shows or going out in downtown Fredericksburg.
We are so excited to see these two tie the knot tomorrow at Mount Ida Farm!!
