Richmond City Engagement Session
Take a look at Tyrisha and Will’s classic Richmond City Engagement Session! We enjoyed our time with them and their son Liam as we ventured around Richmond! They started with a formal look at Brown’s Island and then they warmed up with a cozier look at Libby Hill Park! Richmond has so much to offer for photo sessions, the sunsets and views at Libby Hill Park are the best!

How they met:
“We met 7 years ago through 2 friends that were dating. It was a total blind date. We both felt that we were there doing our friends a favor, we left each other that day not thinking we would see each other again. At the time, William was attending Virginia Union University and Tyrisha was beginning to apply to different schools. Tyrisha ended up choosing Virginia Commonwealth University so we could remain close to one another. We have been together for 7 years now and have an amazing little 1 year old, Liam.”
Their first date:
“Our first date was a blind date to Sweet Frog followed by a couple rounds at the bowling alley.”
The proposal!
“Our proposal was super simple and intimate. William proposed at his home. It was his birthday weekend and I (Tyrisha) was really sick battling the flu. On his actual birthday I tried to be a trooper to insure he had a good time but ended calling it a night early. The day after his birthday I was packing my stuff to leave and he just came over and began expressing how he felt about me, got down on his knee and asked me to marry him. Very random and unexpected, but meant so much.”
What Will loves most about Tyrisha:
“Well there are multiple things I love about my future wife. I love her eyes, she has always been so supportive and encouraging of me in anything I set out to do.”
What Tyrisha loves most about Will:
“William is fun to be around. We always have a good a time whether we go out or are spending the night in the house.”
Their favorite thing to do together:
“We enjoy going to the park and playing basketball with our son, watching movies, and trying different food.”
We are so excited to capture another chapter of Tyrisha & Will’s love story tomorrow as they become husband and wife!!
