Williamsburg Fall Engagement Session, Hailey & Kevin
I enjoyed putting this blog post together so much!! Hailey & Kevin’s Williamsburg fall engagement session was so fun and beautiful! The majority of their relationship was long distance. This was part of the reason they chose Colonial Williamsburg for their engagement session. They would meet there as a halfway point when Hailey was in Richmond and Kevin was in Poquoson.
We first met Hailey at Addison & Meredith’s engagement session where she was the dog wrangler, lol! Then we got to spend more time with her on Addison & Meredith’s wedding day! Now, it’s her turn!! We were so happy when she reached out to us a little over a year ago about capturing her and Kevin’s wedding day!
How they met
Hailey & Kevin met at Radford University in the spring of 2013. I have to quote Hailey on the rest, because who could tell it better?
“We both we’re moving in to start our semesters, Kevin was transferring into Jefferson Hall for the first time, while Hailey was just returning. We met in an elevator of all places, so you could say it was all up from there! Over the spring semester we got to know each other as friends and hall mates. Then we started exclusively dating during the fall of 2013.”
The Proposal
It was a complete surprise to Hailey! Kevin consulted with Addison to plan a weekend getaway to their house in Charlottesville. They decided to go on a short hike to Black Rock Summit to enjoy the fall day! Once they made it to the top, Kevin wasted no time and got down on one knee and asked Hailey to marry him. Afterwards, they were greeted by their families and friends for a surprise engagement party put together by Addison & Meredith!
It has been such a joy to get to know Hailey and Kevin! They are so sweet and goofy together. Enjoy some of my favorites from their engagement session!
They are getting married on Saturday!! We cannot wait to see them and celebrate! They will have an intimate church ceremony followed by a delicious dinner at Sam Miller’s!
