Anniversary Portraits

Happy Friday!! We are finally getting around to sharing our lovely portrait session we had with Meghan Lupyan in February! Where has the time gone? With our upcoming 5 year wedding anniversary, we wanted to get some updated photos of the two of us (that didn’t involve a tripod or remote clicker, lol!)! This was the first time we were in front of another professional photographer’s camera in almost 5 years! It was long overdue and we are so grateful we found Meghan Lupyan Photography to take them for us! I had been following her work on social media for some time now and then finally decided we needed to be photographed by her. She made us feel so comfortable in front of her lens with her bubbly personality. We were laughing the majority of the session, it was so much fun!

I also had Rachel Mills from Polished Salon and Spa do my hair & makeup. Having your hair & makeup done by a professional for your photo session makes such a difference! She was so sweet to work with!

We love the outdoors and also exploring new places. We decided to go to Sleepy Hole Park in Suffolk for our session. Meghan knew all the best places to go to for photos there. From the docks, to the wooded areas and the tall grasses, we loved it all! We really love how all of the photos turned out and were so excited to get updated photos on our walls. We immediately ordered new canvases and prints!

And finally, if you have ever had a session with us, this last pose will probably look familiar!! The good ole Charlie’s Angels pose!! I obviously have a hard time keeping a straight face with this guy around.
