Maymont Garden Engagement Session

Andy & Kelly travelled down from Northern Virginia to meet me in Richmond for their engagement session! Maymont was a wonderful choice, the gardens and landscape are so beautiful!

I loved spending time with these two and learning about them and their love story! They met while attending Virginia Tech, and a mutual hobby of video games led to a wonderful friendship!

One of my favorite parts of their love story is the proposal! After dating for 6 years, Kelly asked Andy to marry her! She planned an elaborate treasure hunt that included family members until he reached Kelly at the last location where she popped the question!

Their love for one another is so evident and I’m so glad I was able to capture some beautiful moments for them! I love that they chose to include important parts of their relationship like their Virginia Tech Hokies blanket, video games, and a painting! They have such a strong bond and I’m excited to see how it will continue to grow!

Tomorrow is their wedding day at Cabell’s Mill! They spent many of their summer days together here hiking and exploring the area!
