Belle Isle Richmond Engagement Session

This Belle Isle Richmond Engagement session is so special! Kate & Leo are from New York and met while attending Rochester Institute for Technology! Work brought them to Richmond, and their first apartment was near Belle Isle which is why they wanted their engagement photos taken there!

We had a pretty mild spring day and everyone was taking advantage of it! We walked over to the rocks along the James River and then headed over to the pipeline. It’s always so fun talking with our couples, hearing their stores, and also talking about our pets! They have a beagle basset hound named Eustace (named after the old man in the 90’s cartoon Courage the Cowardly Dog)! If you know us, you know we love dogs, especially any kind of hound dog!

The proposal:

“Leo proposed on April Fools Day (2018) while we were walking our dog, Eustace. We walked to the VMFA, in the terrace gardens we sat on some of the benches and then making sure no one was around, he took a knee and asked me to marry him. And no, I knew it was not an April Fool’s joke :)”

Kate & Leo are getting married TODAY at The Mill at Fine Creek! It’s going to such a beautiful day, we are so excited to see them!!
