Joyful ViBe District Engagement Session, Taylor & Justin

This joyful ViBe District Engagement Session was out of the park! Likely the most fun we have had at a session! Taylor & Justin’s personalities were so perfect for this fun, colorful location! They included their sweet dog, Daphne, who loved getting all the attention!

We always want to make sure when we are photographing our couples that we are capturing their unique personalities! Looking back through their engagement session for this blog post had me smiling ear to ear. Their wedding this weekend at the Chrysler Museum in Norfolk is going to be so much fun!

The Proposal

It was September of 2020 we made somewhat impromptu AirBnB reservations at a cute little house in Leesburg and decided to spend the weekend in a town we’d never really visited before, drinking wine and eating cheese.

We hiked up a hill to Bluemont Vineyard, grabbed a bottle of wine and made our way down into the actual grapevines. As we sat down, Justin said that our friends Josh and Jess would be meeting up with us in about half an hour. Not even ten minutes later, Justin wanted to stand up. I protested and wanted to keep sitting, but eventually joined him. I then heard my name called from behind me; Josh and Jess had arrived early, but when I turned back around to look at Justin he was down on one knee! I gasped this huge gasp when I saw the ring and he popped the question; my involuntary response was “Yeah, duh!”
